Last Thursday I had a meet and greet with my new principal. It was great till I found out I was going back to first grade. I have been getting ready for 2nd grade and now I'm going back. Let's see the plus side, I was there last year! But I have been planning for 2nd grade all summer, we'll I guess I have some quick planning to do. We start school August 24th, so I have some time.
Now to my classroom preview peek. I wanted something new this year so I decided to do a chalkboard theme. I used Schoolgirl style
Chalkboard & Polka Dots Collection and it turned out great. Here are just a couple of my pictures, my room is still a work in progress. I had training this past week for dyslexia so this is what I did in about two full days.

I found this shoe organizer at a garage sale last year. I might need to paint it black to match but didn't have time this summer. The labels are from Target Dollar spot, it was an awesome find and I just a white sharpie to write on them. I also used the same label on my library to set up it with our schools AR books.

Really Good Stuff. I know they are a little expensive but should last to make up for the price.
